The "Alternate Breakfast Rides" are usually 35-45 miles at a moderate pace with a breakfast stop during the ride. Rides depart promptly at the times listed. Please arrive at the start a few minutes early in order to prepare yourself and your bike so that you will not delay the start. 9:00AM starts in April, May, Sept. & Oct., 8:00AM starts in June, July and August (unless otherwise specified). Rain cancels - phone the ride leader when in doubt.​


June 1:  Meet at 8:00 am at the Northampton Stop & Shop, Kingsgate Plaza, 228 King St. Park to the left of Moe’s near the bike path. Ride 35 miles with some hills through Hatfield and Whately, with a breakfast stop about halfway at Wild Roots in Sunderland. June 15:
This 35 to 40 mile ride, with mostly rolling terrain and a few climbs for balance, will stop at “Country Kitchen” (yum)  midway into the ride. My three summer leads this year will be targeted towards the surrounding areas less traveled. “Wow” I saw things I’ve never seen before! Loved hearing that on my last lead.  Ride starts at 8:00 AM. Meet at Stop and Shop, Rt. 20, Westfield at 8:00 AM. We will ride 7 miles to Red Riding Hood for breakfast. From there we will go to Granby CT. We cross Granby, then up Rt. 189 to Granville, MA. Mostly flat to rolling with one long (4 mile) climb- but not steep. Meet at 23 Williams Way in Tolland, CT at 8:00 AM.  Ride is a 35 mile fairly hilly route through Tolland, Ellington and Coventry that passes by both Crystal and Shenipsit Lakes. Breakfast stop at Ellington Deli Depot 8 miles into the ride.  Leader: Jean LaSala (860) 402-9328 or JLbus@comcast.net.

Ride will begin at 8:00 AM at McAlister School on Mountain Road, Rt. 168 in Suffield, CT. Will travel the beautiful back roads of Suffield for 35 to 40 miles averaging 14 to 16 mph with brunch near ride completion at M and M’s around the corner from the school! We will leave from the Brimfield Elementary School on RT 19, Brimfield at 9:00 AM. There is no breakfast stop but we can stop in Sturbridge if needed to refuel at around the 22 mile mark. It will be 32 mile hilly ride through Brimfield, Warren, Brookfield, Sturbridge, Holland and Wales. Leader: Brian Machia at BMachia@repub.com.
