April 1: Meet 9:30 at 280 Prospect St. Westfield. We’ll stop along the route for lunch at the Red Riding Hood on Rt 168 Southwick. There are hills, nothing horrible. Meet at Suffield village at 10 AM. 25 or so mile leisurely ride through Suffield, Windsor Locks, Windsor , and the Windsor historic district. This ride is intended for anyone who is comfortable riding 25-30 miles. Some slightly rolling terrain. Bring lunch and drinks. Then over into NY State, then UP over Bash Bish Falls road back into Gt Barrington. Again, this would be a hilly ride (at least the 4 miles over the mountain), would be approx 64 miles long. Meet 9:30 AM at Somersville School, School St, Somers. (One block South of Rt 190/186 Junction) Road bikes are OK on Rail trail, but tires at least 25mm wide recommended.
