November 6:  “Monadnock - CliffWalk Trail” No Breakfast. Please eat before Hike. We will NOT go to the summit, beautiful views, some moderate climbing and one ladder climb. Bring lunch, fluids, approximately 4 hours. Meet at the “Old Tollhouse” trail head off route 124 Jaffrey, New Hampshire. We will meet in the trail-head parking lot at 9:00 AM. November 13:  “Bearhole Reservation”  Breakfast at Memo’s, 1272 Memorial Ave. West Springfield, MA.  Breakfast at 8:00 AM, depart for hike at 9:00 AM. Carpool to hike start or park at end of Bearhole Rd. in W. Springfield, off Dewey St. across from Rogers Ave. Route is relatively flat, on old roads. We will go around the reservoir, stopping at the site of the old resort and remains of the chimney and eponymous bear house from 1900. We will head out to Ashley Reservoir and return. November 20:  Hike the M+M trail from the Notch to Harris Mt. Rd. Approximately 5 miles. Meet at 8:00 AM for breakfast at Atkins Farms, 1151 West St. (Rt.116) Amherst, MA.  If you are not coming for breakfast, please be at Atkin’s by 8:45 AM for car-spotting. Dog friendly. November 27:  Meet at Al Shane’s, 68 Pine Edge Dr., Northampton at 8:00 AM.  Walk to River Valley Co-op via wooded trail to breakfast, then hike through Fitzgerald Lake Conservation area with a return to Al’s.  Dogs allowed on Leash. December 11:  Hike Chester Blandford State Forest, Rt 20 Chester, MA. Meet for breakfast at Good Table, School St. Westfield, MA.  Hike is approximately 5 miles, hilly at the beginning. December 18: “Hike McCain Farm Trail” Breakfast at Hometown Kitchen, Rt. 83, Somers, CT.  We will carpool from breakfast to hike start. (part of Shenipsit State Forest) and climb up Soapstone Mt. January 8:  “Hike Wachusett Mountain”  No breakfast stop. Hike will depend on the weather. Meet at 9:00 AM at the Ski Lodge parking lot, NOT the Visitor’s Center! Please park near the woods, near the trails. Bring lunch, fluids, water, poles, spikes.  POST-HIKE snacks at the Gingras’ house. Please bring something to share with the group. January 29: “Hike Stanley Park” Breakfast at Soup’s On, 16 Union St. Westfield MA.  Use the 2nd entrance off Western Ave, across from Westfield State athletic building. Wednesday Hikes

Unless otherwise specified, breakfast is at 8:00AM at the restaurant listed and hikes begin at 9:00AM. Wear clothing in layers suitable for the weather. Trails may be icy, wear appropriate footwear (i.e. crampons). Hike leaders may refuse participation by unprepared hikers. If at least four inches of snow are on the ground the hike may be replaced by cross-country skiing or snow showing. Rain cancels. If in doubt about the conditions, contact the hike leader.
